Hawaii imports more than 80% of it’s food for the growing population, making our local economy weak and vulnerable.  This is why it is so important for our students to learn the basics in taking care of the land and growing our own food.  Teachers are the gateway for facilitating future generations, and hopefully with the resources through Ag. Ed., Hawaii will see more resources being produced in state.  This is an in progress list of High Schools with Agriculture Programs:
